Keynote Speaker Feature - Dr. Leslie Atwood
We are deeply honored to welcome Dr. Leslie Atwood as the keynote speaker for the evening.
Dr. Atwood is widely regarded as a leader in women’s health in our region and has made a lasting impact through her work in both clinical practice and global outreach. Her dedication to advancing cervical cancer prevention and education has influenced generations of physicians.
Notably, she served as Dr. Rik’s instructor during his residency training, guiding him in the early detection and management of cervical cancer. Her mentorship helped shape the very foundation of the work Para Ella continues today.
Dr. Atwood will share insights on women’s health, global outreach, and the critical importance of expanding access to preventative care for women worldwide.
Her legacy of teaching, mentorship, and advocacy continues to ripple outward — impacting women far beyond our own community.
